Westerner arrowdie question

I read Mark Erickson's post about the westerner $1 arrowdie.(link)
http://www.thechipboard.com/cgi-bin/tcbarc14/tcbarc14.pl?read=468500
I took that in to consideration before buying mine from the seller at $250.I see that the seller had sold three before mine, sold one after me,and has another on now.(link to my purchace)

with six sold i wanted to know how many were left. The Campiglia and Wells book says that one sold on ebay and six were found so i emailed the seller asking how many were left(i woundered if it was the 6 referred to in the book). Now here is my question: if the rarity drops to R-7 or even lower how is the price determined?
By the way this is what the seller sent me in response to my question...

patjanekathy is the seller.

I don't know. They don't belong to me, but to a client I list for. He has given me a few to put on for this sale. I don't know if that is all he has or not. I am not divlulging how many he has given me - why do you need to know?
