Arrowdie chips are named for the mold surrounding the edge of the chips. They are some of the most collectable chips and were among the earliest chips used in Las Vegas casinos.

This arrowdie chip is hot-stamped "RGS". Arrowdie were originally distributed by Reno Gaming Supply between 1953 and 1956. It is believed by those who've done extensive research on Reno Gaming Supply and its chips that this was a business card chip for that company. It is also believed to be one of the earliest, if not the first, arrowdie chip ever produced. It's anyone's guess how many have survived.
