The two areas where people don't want scans used, borrowed, stolen (and I hope this clears it up?) is when someone links to my scans on my website which drives up usage, can cost me money, and can be a problem. Or when someone uses my scan to sell on eBay knowing that they don't have that chip. (because I own it!)
