Extra! High-end Hard Rock Chips for sale

Last week I posted images of these chips for your viewing pleasure. After receiving a lot of interest in purchasing them, I've decided to sell them. Each chip pictured below is for sale except the $1000 All Is One house chip as it has already been sold. First though, let me give you a little background on the chips...

Front

They came directly from Paulson, not from the casino, and apparently, they served as samples. These are the only four Hard Rock chips that came from this particular source at Paulson. As far as I know, they are unique pieces and the only notched samples that survived Paulson. If anyone knows differently, I'd love to know.

The 1000 SRB chip does have a small black spot of gunk at 3 o'clock in the image below. I'm sure it can be removed with cleaner, but I'll leave that decision up to the buyer. Other than that and the cancellations, the chips are all in uncirculated condition.

The two house chips are easy enough to identify. They are the house chips that have been in use since the casino opened.

The other two (with the crossed swordfish on them) are used in the Sports and Race Book and are rarely, if ever, seen in collectors' circles. In fact, one is rarely seen in the casino itself. Neither the Chip Guide, the Chip DB, nor any other chip sites have pictures of them that I've been able to locate. Because I'd never seen them before, I visited the casino with scans of the chips in order to ascertain whether or not the chips were ever in play.

My first stop was the Sports and Race Book, I spoke with the manager and showed him the scans of the chips. He confirmed that the orange 1000 chip was used in the SRB for big gamblers placing large bets. He even showed us a chip that matched our scan perfectly. However, he said that he'd never laid eyes on the 5000 chip before and couldn't verify its authenticity. Next stop, the cashier's cage.

At the cashier's cage, we inquired with all the tellers who were all intrigued, but none of which had never seen the 5000 SRB chip. At this point, a teller called over the cage supervisor who confirmed that the chip was, in fact, valid, but was kept in the vault and reserved for only their biggest gamblers. I regret that I didn't ask if I could purchase one directly at the cage, but from her demeanor and the information she gave us, I got the impression I could not. So I left the casino after a successful fact-finding mission confirming the authenticity of both chips.

I'm going to accept offers on all the chips, both individually and as a set for a few days. If I receive an offer(s) that I believe is fair, the chips will be sold privately. If not, I'll most likely put them up for auction on eBay and try to generate more interest.

I'll be more than happy to answer any serious inquiries.

Thanks for reading,
Will
