It truly was an exciting finish to our league last night. Regardless of who was going to win the overall championship (You, Rich, Scott or Norm - no particular order), I know any one of you four are worthy of the championship and would represent the chippers very well in the big tournament.

I actually had a little something to play for too. I fought so hard last night because I thought I had a chance at getting in the top nine. I honestly don't think I would have done so well if I didn't have a chance at a top-nine spot.

Now that it's over and I didn't make the top nine, I almost feel like a last place Nascar driver who got in the way of a couple racers going for the championship. I didn't mean to play the role of the spoiler. It did make for an exciting ending though!

I can't wait for the next league (Road to the WSOP) to start. These have really been fun tournaments on Wednesday nights.

Every now and then I also think we ought to also have a single tournament "satellite" for the $200 Sunday buy-in event. The winner could go and if they cash, then split 50% with the other 8 finishers (2-9 places). It would be exciting to watch other chippers playing on Sunday who are also representing our "group". That would make Sundays a lot of fun to watching that player play on our behalf!
