I was at one of our indoor shows this a.m. and a dealer had four embossed "Spirit of St. Louis" airplane chips for sale. I asked to see one and saw that he had a $22.00 price tag on it. I said is that for all four? "Oh no," he said, "that's for one. They are very scarce." I said, "Oh,then the 400 or so that I have must be very valuable." He said, "You can't have this chip." I said, "No, you are right, I cannot have that chip." I offered to sell my two sets for only $500 but he declined,shut the glass case door and walked away in a huff. Darn and I could have made a profit of $450!
