While I appreciate that I come to mind when you see this, there is a difference between these types of posts and the ones I take exception to.

Although this sort of sickly sweet parable doesn't much appeal to me, and incorrectly attaching a celebrities name certainly doesn't make it any more appealing, I really don't object to passing this stuff on.

I object to passing on false information which is intended to alarm people or mislead them "pass this on the cell phone companies are selling your number to the telemarketers and if you don't call the "DO NOT CALL" Registry within the next 10 days you will get calls that you have to pay for. And Bubble Yum chewing gum has spider eggs in it, and microsoft will pay you to forward this email, and there is a new computer virus that you can get just from turning on your computer, . . .

And of course I object to those who would rewrite history and try to force their religious beliefs upon others
