Not that I know of, but someone once said he had a way to find the high bid. Never materialized.

If there is, I'd sure want to know, so I could save the time of bidding something up to my Max. and finding out it was fruitless.

What happened is someone (probably) had a snipe bid of $6.99 thinking it would be good enough, or they felt that was their highest price.

Anyone else with insight into this can correct me, but, I know of no way to see another persons bid, until I have actually placed a bid.

If there is, this would be a shock for eBay security and credibility.
