I'm in Elgin now, lived in Arlington Heights, Forest Park and Chicago before Elgin. I'm not much of a baseball fan, but have been watching the Sox with much interest. A couple of weeks ago my step-father passed away (Sept 15) he was a huge White Sox fan. He kept saying he was going to make it to watch them play in the World Series, but we all knew he wouldn't make it. He lasted longer than we thought. I am now hoping for a White Sox victory in his honor.
