A public warning could be done in many ways.

The Club could issue a press release as an alert (?)

I have been warned about Binion's chips since I started collecting. Since what I collect are 95% Binion's chips I may need out patient treatment to requiet my lust for the chips.

With Poker as the current big thing, many new collectors are first introduced to the idea of Poker chips through this venue. They would like some souveneer of the big event. Many of you may not like this but chips may become as much a sports collectable as a casino artifact or "numismatic" item.

If Home Shopper grabs all the Binion's and sells them at "peoples prices" this could be a good thing for the hobby. If hoarders prey on unsuspecting new collectors it will generate bad press.

I'd like to hear more opinions on this and on any proposed club position or action.
