The Beau Rivage Yellow - C "24 Lines" Roulette chip shown below was harvested 2 weeks before Katrina hit the Gulf Coast Casinos. I picked it up on my way home from the Convention in Las Vegas. Beau Rivage had 5 Roulette tables in use A, B, C and D -24 lines and Table E hotstamped House Mold chips

The "24 Lines" description of this style of Bud Jones Plastic Roulette chips is recognized by The Chip Rack and other Roulette collectors. As you can see there are "24 Lines" around the outer edge of the chip.

According to my records these chips first appeared on Roulette tables at the Fiesta and Pioneer Laughlin in 1999.

I may have missed a few Casinos that have used the 24 Lines Roulette chips, but I think this is a fairly comprehensive listing.

These 24 lines chips can be used with the autosort Roulette machines, however most are used without the machines. I believe that the autosort machines "read" the center of the chip and not the edge. I am not certain exactly what purpose the 24 Lines serve.
