Groovy Chips

A number of casinos use the "radial grooved" BudJones chips for value chips as well as for roulettes. I understand the design is supposed to break the "suction" that causes very smooth chips to tend to stick together.

Atlantis in Reno is the first place I saw them. They were used for a $1 chip reorder about 7-8 years ago. Spirit Mountain in Oregon also uses them for value chips.
