I think there are a lot of people that “casually” collect tokens, but there aren’t that many “token collectors”. The number of token collectors pale in comparison to the number of chip collectors.

There are several guides, references and lists on tokens, and a couple of books on the Franklin Mint issues from 1965-1969. but not much else.

I don’t know of any token price/value guides,like there are for chips. There are a couple of for-sale catalogues, but they list what the owner has for sale, not a comprehensive value guide.
