Wanted to share with everyone the progress on the ongoing restoral of Sue Wells Collection. For those not familiar, Sue is a CCGTCC Member whose house was flooded by Hurricane Katrina. While on deployment to Biloxi, with Sues permission, a group from my Department went to Sue's House and recovered her collection. Here are some of the pictures of the progress.

She had a total of 8 binders. Each page in every binder had been under water for some time. Every plastic page had water in each pocket, which was trapped in the binders. Every page was covered in salt water and mud making the tokens tarnish and the chips moldy.

I am happy to report I was able to save approx 99% of her collection. There is still some minor work to do, but for the most part they are ready to go back to there owner once she is ready. Alot of people have asked how they could help. Here is my answer.

I would love to be able to replace her Casino Chip Binders. There was a total of (8) binders and each is $20. I would rather not ask for money donations, but supplies. If anyone has any extra plastic pages or extra Casino Chip Binders please let me know. If any Dealers are able to sell these to me at cost....please let me know. Its kinda nice, thru all the devastation, to restore something back to its origonal state. My thanks to all.
