I recently received a new (albeit notched) chip that had a scotch tape residue on one side. I used my trusty Goo Gone and removed the glue.

Now I read the following, in part, from the Board:

2) Removal of varnish and/or glue
7) Removing of chips from key rings

The Board feels that these practices will cause considerable harm to the hobby.

I wonder if anyone else reading this has also harmed the hobby?
