The Casino Kursaal in the seaside town of Oostende was built in 1875. However, this casino was demolished during the second world war as it had to make way for the German Altantic Wall. Eight years after the war it was rebuilt on the same site. In 2002 the casino under went a 2 year renovation, and re-opened in 2004. Now one of the largest and most distinguished casinos in all of Europe. I was in the casino for 6 hours in 1970, played BJ. you know the story, not a collector then.
