Too weird Allan! I saw those chips when I stopped in Reno on my way home from the convention. Since they were located where you would line up for the buffet, I'm surprised anyone would attempt stealing one of these frames.

I stopped by to pick up a Baldini's hat for work and take a picture of the place and just to see what was happening. Usually you see folks luggin' cases and six-packs of Pepsi outta the place as slot player rewards. Locals place you know. I sat down at an empty table to play a pitch game of 21 and picked out this chip for inspection. The guy dealing sez that the female is one of their dealers and the chip was made "for collectors". Good deal, I told him, I was a collector! Convention, Riviera, Club, blahblahblah. He's asking advice on some set of chips from one of the Laughlin casinos he's won (put them on eBay we decided) and he tells me about the big ol' framed collection they have over by the buffet. Cool. After I get done, I go over and have a look and it is (was) a pretty good collection and looks great the way they set it up. Mostly LE's and LE sets from all over but mostly Nevada and it is a pretty good collection of stuff by someone with a good eye. Turn to leave and there's my dealer friend! "Decided I needed to really take a good look at it!" he says. I let him know about Jim's show coming up so maybe we can snag another collector.

And of course, another real nice mellow Reno dealer, don't you know! vbg
