The Max first sailed out of Key West. The owner and or casino manager was from Britain. When they placed the order they also ordered chips in a 50c and 20c denom. These were to be used on the brutish craps table as the odds are different but I do not think the layout was even on the boat and the chips were never used on the tables (the 20c for sure the 50c might have been used in NY buy I do not think so). When the boat moved to NY these chips started to turn up in the market place. The boat left NY and returned to Miami Beach as the Atlantic Casino Cruises where they had a new rack of chips. The boat stopped sailing from Miami Beach but is still moored there waiting for a new owner.
