Ed, Good question, but it is a new chip. They came in a chip box that said "blue" on it, and they are blue. The other ones known (shown in picture below) are white, brown and green -- those have amount on one side and the GBO logo on the other side. All of the new ones are blue and have GBO on both sides. And I picked up quite a few, and all are like that, so no odd ball error.
