Hello everyone. Was able to do some more chipping on Monday but yesterday was devoted to canopy sailing (Flying through the rain forest at 80 MPH on a 1/2 inch cable in a harness.) and white water rafting.

On Monday, Geri and I made it to several casinos. I forgot to mention in my earlier post that all of the casinos have roulette but instead of a roulette wheel, they have a huge basket like a Bingo callers basket. A single ball drops out and that is the winner. There is a 0 ball and a 00 ball. Half the balls are red and half are black. The layout is the same as in the US.

On Monday we went into downtown San Jose and managed to stop at the following:

Casino Del Ray-Geri was one of 33 women in the casino. Geri was the only lady without a FOR SALE sign. Chips are well used HC in American and Colones. No American $1 chips.

Horseshoe Casino-Much better HC's with American dollars and Colones.

Cheetah's Casino- Really cool HC chips. Woman in a Cheetah outfit. Very neat chip in Clones only. No American chips.

Today we hired a driver to take us 2 hrs. each way to Jaco Beach and the 5 or 6 casinos that are there. When we arrived at noon we found out that unlike the casinos in San Jose, they don't open their tables until 7 PM.. I think the driver will get me some in the future but none from Jaco Beach for now.

Right now there is an airliner trying to land in LA on one wheel and a massive hurricane headed to Galveston. We are praying for all, here in Costa Rica.
