... because I almost bought a '65 (Sept. '64) but decided on the Cadillac DeVill, instead. It was $6,500; new. There was a GM strike that year and didn't get delivery until Feb. the following year. Started buying Town Cars in '90 (traded them in every 2 years) and purchased a 2004 Ultimate last year. Best Lincoln I ever drove.
