We can't assume that all CC> members read the board or are aware of the Silver Slipper nonsense. (of course, I would also postulate that if an ebay seller is a club member, they probably do read the board and therefore are aware of the Canadian chips].
You didn't include an auction link, but if it is the same seller who posts several of these Slippers every week, they do know better already! If that's the case, then s@rew the emailing and get directly in touch with the club claims director...if this is the case, it is a violation of the clubs ethics policy and should be reported through the proper channels.
