Etiquette Question on selling chips

I would just like some opinions on the following inquiry:

Chips are sold here on the board, or through email, and the buyer agrees to buy said chips...

the buyer never sends payment or contacts the seller...

the seller waits 4 or more weeks....

what should the seller do?

Seller is obviously myself. I have quite a few chips that were accounted for but never paid for or inquired about. To go through all my emails to identify the potential buyers would take the better part of the day.

Should I just keep holding on to the chips, and if so, for how long before I relist?

Whose responsibility is it to make sure the sale is followed through on?

In a retail environment, it is the buyer’s responsibility to follow through. But wanted the opinion of those here on the board since I sell to many here.

Thanks for any feed-back.
