I do not understand why you feel you were "forced" to pay the amount you did when you won an item at the exact level you were willing to pay for it. I do understand why you feel you did not get a bargain (meaning that you did not pay less than the highest amount you were willing to pay). You were not FORCED to pay what you were willing to pay because you were WILLING to pay that amount...

BTW, I'm retired... perhaps that has something to do with the way I think...
