I actually agree. I've had a lot of fun at the Spike. The rooms aren't anything to write home about, but hey for 15 bucks a night (back then), it was worth it. Danger is in the eye of the beholder; coming from Flatbush, downtown LV never really bothered me
Tell ya one thing though- once I was on the strip wearing a Gold Spike t-shirt, and the idiot at the (casino x) player's club wouldn't sign me up for a card...thought I was a GS employee (my NYS drivers license notwithstanding)..lol
