My Kid played football w/ Dante Culpepper NCR*

I have 2 step-sons but raised them since they were little kids...so I consider myself their dad and to them I am also....anyway, my youngest is a Mr GQ, gets the girls and was the High School lefty baseball star pitcher. In other words his poop don't stink. BUT, my oldest couldn't catch a beach ball if you rolled it to him. And this story is about him...Culpepper is from here and my oldest went to HS with him. Brian (my oldest) tried just about every sport they have in school and always flopped. He made varisty wrestleing in the 10th grade only cuz he was the only one in his weight class (90 lb weakling one i think)...he lost every match, including twice to a blind kid from the blind school in Daytona and those boys are goooood at all sports...Anyway...his senior year he goes out for football and makes it (it's a law here I think)...and he never got into a game until the next to last game...the coach calls him over to send in the play to Culpepper, they are driving and at the 12 yard line, first down...he's all jazzed and ready to go....he goes..stops halfway between the Coach and Culpeppper...forgot the play..."TIME OUT"...oopps, they had no time outs 15 yards and loss of down...at the 25 now second down. My kid lines up at wide reciever and I'm looking at him and I'm thinking..."damn that boys standing right next to the other teams guy"...TWEET...off sides...at the 30 2nd down..he lines up again, the plays goes off and he makes a great defencive play, just nailed the guy...about 4 seconds after the play was over....TWEEET..15 yards personal foul...2nd down at the 45...so finally they call for him to deep and he lined up right on the foul line, all byhimself...they didn't even guard him...I didn't watch him take off cuz I knew Culpepper would throw it as far from him as possible and he did. Then I look for my kid..nowhere in sight..turns out he went deep...right through the end zone and out the gate into the locker room never to play a down again....lol...that's mine and my kids bragging rights to playing with a great pro football player. BTW...Culpepper was just as good in baseball, my youngest played with him on 2 all star teams and my youngests claim to Culpepper fame is...he wore and stole his number 8 High School baseball jersey.
