I’ve been scanning around on eBay and I was somewhat amazed to find that bids on $1 and $5 Harrah’s New Orleans chips are going as high as $10 and skyrocketing even higher, Now mind you from what I can tell this is not the sellers trying to take advantage of the situation in New Orleans because most if not all of them including a few members are putting up the auctions at reasonable or market value prices and it seems that the high prices that have been purported is a result of the high demand which makes me wonder that IF and when Harrah’s reopens the New Orleans property will these buyers suddenly have serious buyers remorse after finding the market which was once limited is again flooded with the chips which they paid 1000% above value for is now worth 1000% less.

I also find it funny that people are willing to pay such high prices for chips which are clearly worn and extremely filthy but each to his/her own.
