Hey Ron,

I have to back Dennis on this one...you should really consider using bubble mailers. I think you've been extrememly lucky if you haven't had any mishaps yet.

Over the years, I've had easily 5 different times where newer chippers have sent trade chips in a regular envelope, only to have just the envelope arrive. Sure there are ways to get around it. To name a few you can wrap the chip in a piece of paper towel and then tape it. You can cut a hole the size of a chip into a piece of cardboard and place that into the envelope. There are other ways too, but when it comes down to it, you want to have three things happening:

1)You want ease in packing them up.
2)You want the chips to arrive to their destination
3)You want them to arrive in the same condition
that you shipped them.

Believe me, others here will be happy to give you their horror stories. You can bet there's a bunch of them.

In my opinion, Dennis is giving you some very helpful and sound advice.
