Roy, I had the same trouble... 
Unable to make changes in Nortons account. () with unresponsiveness from McAfee, so I had to dump them. As soon as the trial period for Norton runs out on my new laptop I'll be changing to AVG. I have that on my desktop and I'm very satisfied with it.
