Jane, most people, rich or not, are pretty private about their giving. Our citizens are envied by many people in the world because of our relative wealth. The commendable thing about us is that are citizenry is also one of the most generous in the world. You can bet that there are many millionaires and many middle-income and many poor citizens who are being very generous at this time.

You will never hear about them. Unlike the celebrities, they do not want to toot their own horns. They only want to help. I would venture to guess that you are one of the millions who is extending your generosity, but nobody (except maybe the IRS *VBG* ) will ever know it.
