...is the scope of destruction. It isn't just New Orleans, Biloxi and Gulf Port. Basic services have been disrupted in an area the size of Idaho. That is a primary reason it has taken this long to mobilize the different agencies and set up organized relief and rescue efforts. This undertaking is so massive it is beyond comprehension for most of us, and the true depth of this tragedy is yet to be seen.
