A number of people (today there were a couple from people without real names) have claimed that they have had there posts deleted.

The general response is that the post must of been in a thread started by the troll and that all responses were deleted.

Then the posters say that their posts were not responses to the troll.

The remarkable thing is that none of these people ever say what it was that their deleted posts said.

This leads me to believe that there posts were in some way related to the Troll.

For example the other night "Tex" posted a bunch of troll images and this post was deleted. Whether it was a response to a post by the Troll or a free standing post is irrelevant --- This sort of post feeds the troll, the only way to get rid of the troll is to starve him of the attention he craves.

Tex went on to post about he had received positive responses to his post and couldn't understand why it was deleted. (He even reposted it).

I responded in private email to Tex and told him that he wouldn't get a positive response from me and that he should ignore the troll.

I got back a response ("Was a joke about the Troll I found on the net last night now now who and why was I deleted?") that made no sense whatsoever but seemed he to think that I didn't understand his post. He also asked me why his post was deleted and by who. (I have no idea of the answer to those questions except that I suspect the person who deleted his post believes as I do that all troll related posts are nothing but Troll-Food).

I would prefer that no posts were deleted on the bulletin board. Rather I believe whenever someone feeds the troll his post should remain, but Greg or his designee should drive to the posters house and smack him in the head.

As for Tex leaving the hobby because of this, I doubt I'll miss him. And to those who post without names and say you aren't joining the club because of something you saw on the board. Guess what . . . I won't miss you.
