Well....needless to say that my New Orleans office is closed. All of my employees evacuated yesterday. The technologists went north to Baton Rouge, and to Sheiveport while the doctor fled to northern Texas.

Our Sleep Disorders Center is (was?) located on the ground floor of the Medical Arts building across the street from Touro Hospital right in the middle of the Garden District, one block off of St. Charles St.... in a very low lying area.

Luckily, the Hurricane came in and weakened a touch to a Catagory 4, which is still going to be devastating. As I hear, there have been 4 pumping stations thta have failed, and one of the levies has been breached. The roof of the Super Dome has also failed, and water is pouring in. The people that are there seeking shelter are being moved around to other areas of the Dome, but that may have to be temporary should the roof prove to be unsafe.

This is a bad one, a very bad one.
