new way to handle spoofs -please read

Hello,

Thank you for writing to eBay regarding the email you received.

While it may be considered spam, it was not sent by eBay nor from an
email address that is in our database of registered eBay users.
Spam/spoofed emails should be reported to the site/company being
spoofed.

You have the option of reporting this email to the spoofed domain for
further investigation. Normally, to do this, you would substitute the
word "abuse" in place of the name in front of the @ symbol. For example,
if the spam was sent from user@goodmail.com, you would send your report
to abuse@goodmail.com.

Should you choose to report this, be sure to include a complete copy of
the spam email, including the full header. Headers are important and
usually required for investigation.

One option you may also wish to consider is block the incoming email
address of the sender, through your email program. Usually this can be
accomplished by setting junk mail filters. Doing this should eliminate
repeat emails from this address entering your email inbox.

Thank you again for reporting this email. I hope this information will
be helpful.

Regards,

Shanika
