I've got four hand held UV lights...

Hey Pam,
I know what you mean - I have four UV hand held lights - because there are indeed some UV markings that are very faint - even taking them into a totally dark room viewing of the UV marking difficult at best...

I usually photograph (digitally - using Canon PowerShot G2, tripod and a mixture of light sources) the chips with either straight UV light or a "mixture" of normal and UV light so that the UV image "pops" out and one can then read/view the larger image. Somethings I have to adjust the image using PhotoShop to help to see the UV...

Photography of the piece allows for longer "exposure" times - and using multiple UV sources, the image can be read/viewed...

Regards,

Dick
