Re: Dodge City Chips
In Response To: Dodge City Chips ()

Hiya Alan, I've played a couple of hours of blackjack at the place. It's now named the Cadillac Ranch Casino and Steve Goodrich shows Dodge City Saloon closing in 2000. Cadillac continued to use the Dodge chips until they got a new rack of Chipcos last winter with the new Caddy name. It's the typical WA. cardroom but usually has brand new dealers so you better be alert if you play there as their grasp of 21 is pretty tenuous. Poker has been added but no new $2, snapper or $10 were ordered.

These are typical Bud Jones chips and thus are pretty bulletproof so the condition described to you is probably accurate. Goodrich assigns a vaue of "B" for the $1 and $2.50 and "C" for the $5. Seems pretty polite. grin I can't remember the last time I moved one of the things in a trade or sale. A fellow a few months ago thought about putting his lot together as home poker sets which seems a pretty good way out from under these things, seems to be the whole rack is out there. Good luck with them!
