there are so many, many people to thank for putting on this convention....our wonderful Board of Directors (Mike S, Wayne, Belinda, Mike Q and of course, Ralph), Jim Steffner, Bob Bickford, Roy Nelson, Jim Follis, Bob Pardue, Jim Kruse, Joe Shaw, Todd B, Barry W and his cast of scoundrels and all of the many, many volunteers that gave their time so freely (as so many have done in the past) to really make this convention the success that it is.

But in particular, we should all thank the lovely and talented Corni (please excuse me if I spelled it wrong) Quinlivan who so graciously filled in for Rick Miner running the Building Fund table...she was an absolute angel and seemed like she never took a break. To Neal Silverman who put forth such a great effort in raising funds for the Building Fund through his roulette raffle (over $4,300 as I recall...).

And then there's Gene Trimble...Greg's Get-Together at the Palms, the early bird banquet auction donations from the Palms, the Blackjack & Poker tournaments at the Palms, the special cash value made by the Palms & the NCV silver strikes donated by the Palms to raise funds for the Building Fund...they all have a common thread and that thread is Gene Trimble. Many, many thanks to Gene for all of his effort.

Okay...I'm done...it was fun...I got my "Holy Grail" chip (thanks to a very, very nice board member who either took much pity on me or just HATED the thought of me bugging him anymore )....and had an over-all fantastic time.
