another wonderful success as far as I'm concerned. Picked up only one chip for my collection (thank you, thank you, thank you Captain "Q") and met many, many more wonderful participants of this hobby face-to-face....Dennis Shoop, Marty Kaplan, Brian "Mr. Splash Bar" Cashman, Barry H, Ross Poppel and so many more.

And it was wonderful to see all of those that I have met before and have treated me almost like a normal person . For those of who think that this convention is ALL about chips...it isn't. This Club has so many fantastic people, many whom I am honored to call my friends (but never seem to acknowledge me in public....hmmmmmm ). From shackin' up with my buddy Brian Watts for free at the Wynn, to Greg's Get-Together, to golfing with Jay, Terry & Ross, to the banquet, the poker tournament & cash game afterwards and all of the handshakes & smiles & laughs in between... IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

To those of you that didn't attend, my heartfelt advice is to start saving your pennies...it's less than eleven months 'til next year's convention. I wonder when Brian Cashman will start the next "Splash Bar" countdown ?? Steve B
