I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier, and now it may be too late to implement it. Maybe we could try it out on the 2006 convention, or maybe there are some adventerous folks who would like to implement it now.

Here's how it would work:

I would send about 15-25 chips to my Proxy Buyer along with a list of what I collect, and a list of what not to buy. The buyer would use their judgement on what to buy, and how many chips should be paid out, if any.

The approximate value of each chip sent would be provided so the trading assistant will be able to assess the trade properly. This is especially important if the trading assistant is not familiar with your collecting area.

If you get some dupes after the trade is done, then oh well, you got some more traders. But you never know, you might wind up with that coveted chip that you wouldn't have gotten unless someone was at the convention for ya!

I'm willing to test the option out and send 5-10 chips and my list to the 1st person who accepts my offer.

Since this is an experiment, if anybody chooses to participate right now, bear in mind that I wan't to post the trading progress in real time, just to see how it goes. The trading assistant would also post in the same thread.
