I have an old Windows 98 computer here that I pulled out. It is running "Windows 98 Second Edition". Anyways, I downloaded a browser called "Firefox". It is gaining in popularity among some web users. I downloaded it and installed it onto this Windows 98 computer.

It worked just fine under windows 98. The formatting of some of the Collection Library buttons on user's web pages were a little messed up but otherwise I could browse all aspects of the sites. You might give it a try...
