It's bad enough to sustain an injury like that, but it would be a double hurt to miss the convention. I sure hope the doctor says it's ok to go. If so, maybe renting a wheel chair would be a good idea. Those crutches can get very irritating after you've used them a lot. In the meantime, obey the doctors. That's an order!
