The "average" gambler will ALWAYS lose over the long run. It doesn't matter what game is played.

As a casino employee, you already know this.

If you are better than average poker player, however, you can have an expectation of making money every time you walk thru the door, and in today's casino playing enviorment, we are not talking about greatly skilled, mererly just better than average. A huge difference between that and pit games/slots.

And maybe it is just me, but 1-2 years ago, I would have rather been playing online too, 'cuz play was THAT BAD. I think alot of those players tapped out and never came back. Players today online are better today, so much so that at the limits I play (5-10 10-20), nowaday, I'd rather be in the casino.
