give Alamo a try...they aren't a pain in the behind when you decline the insurance...dollar got nasty with me last time.
If you book alamo online, you can bypass the counter at the airport terminal and hop right on the shuttle (to wait in another line to get your car). They usually run out of subcompacts and upgrade you for free. Downside- the return is off the 215, so if you don't pay attention you'll wind up driving through the dumb airport tunnel 3 times
