I realize how others would view taking tournament chips out of play, BUT I know as I am sure you do that those chips are History (Pun intended), and they won't ever see the table again. I can understand the casinos would think otherwise but I have harvested chips before and I know that I run the risk of getting 86'd or possibly worse. However to me, it is like Roulette Harvesting (but I don't do that), I take 'em and stash 'em. I would (as I am sure you would) never cheat with them.

I like getting my chips from other players, not bringing extras myself.
