Got my membership package in the mail today. Finally made it official after about a year and a half of collecting. My primary interests are old Vegas chips (especially Thunderbirds! ), and some Hard Rock and Palms chips. So far I've managed to amass 106 chips, and am always on the lookout for more!!

I've been a collector all my life (ball cards, comics, die cast cars), but can honestly say that the chipping community is the most friendly and welcoming that I've experienced. The two primary reference books (James' Price Guide and The Chip Rack) are second to none, and are the best in any hobby I've seen.

Anyway, I'm glad to be a member of the club, and hope to attend the convention next year. If anyone comes to Bristol, TN for the NASCAR races, give me a shout (I live in nearby Kingsport).
