The fact that the Palms provides a room and dealers for this event, we must allow them their ability to present the tournament in accordance with Gaming requirements and regulations.

A small, but important part of that, is to get Gaming approval of the chips well before the tournament. However, manufacturer schedules and Gaming timelines are beyond the control of the casino, and it remains a very difficult process around which to build a design contest, let alone release artwork until final approvals are in.

I would believe that Gene will provide scans (or the artwork) at a point in time that it is reasonable to do so.

I think these are more something to brag about than to keep secret.
