Archie I was only disagreeing on your statement that their is no record of mailing if Del. Conf. or Ins. is not purchased. The regular receit is a record of mailing. It is a RECORD only, with a lot of info.No good for claims or proof of Del.It dose prove the the buyer you mailed the item, and didn't scam the buyer, ofcourse you are still responsible to replace if lost. ( mailed over 3000 item never lost one yet, thanks USPO) I often refer to these receits as a bookeeping tool, You are 100% correct on your point of the advantages of Del. Conf. & Ins. I mail out a 6-10 bubble mailers a day, mostly low end chips, so I find these regular receits very valuable, with my senior lapes in memory.
