I agree with Tim. Get a lawyer. Many years ago--too many to make it relevant, I guess, but the process continues as it was long ago--I was an assistant U. S. Attorney and "tried" disability appeals cases from the SSA. I routinely "confessed" judgment (or tried to do so) as the appealed cases were always from persons clearly entitled to their disability claims. The disability portion of SS has always been said by the SS Administration not to be a right and in my state too often they denied claims. For example, one farm hand with a 6th grade education, lost his privates to testicular cancer that had mastestasized. Totally unable to do any physical labor he nonetheless lost the first round with the SS Office saying (in essence) that he could work as an assistant librarian.
