I was bouncing around Sam's Club this morning and saw an aluminum chip carrying case with 500 Bellagio WPT chips (11.5 grams), 2 decks of cards and a dealer button. The total cost with tax was around $90.00. Throw away the case, cards and dealer button, the total cost per chip is 18 cents. Keep those items and the cost per chip is around 13 cents. One of the stack of chips was broken open so I picked up a chip and it felt like a casino quality chip (weight wise). Could it be these same chips were used in actual tournaments? If so, this set is a steal for $90.
