If you have ever been to a Moscow casino I can see why they want to get rid of them. Normally about 6 tables and you are the ONLY player in the building. Unless a mafioso is already there! There was one sitting at the only $5 table in St. Petersburg and when I tried to sit down he placed $500 bets on every spot. I didn't have to understand Russian to know what he was saying! I was gald to see him leave 30 minutes later after dropping about $5K. The interesting thing about that place was that no matter how much you played they had free food and drinks AND cab rides back to your hotel. A very nice touch.

There were a few near the US Embassy in Moscow that were not too bad. Metalista and Corona come to mind.
